This place is owned by an exceptionally helpful couple - Divya and Dileep. Both of them took pains to provide a warm and wonderful experience..Divya asked my daughter what she wanted and then made not only what she requested but couple of more extremely delicious Kerala dishes.. She provided us coffee whenever we wanted it.. Dileep took us in his shikara boat for a canal ride and to show us water lilies growing.. he has a sharp eye and pointed out a number of birds.. he patiently showed us the villages, the unique features which we saw along the way, stopped for photos if we wanted.. Since its a homestay they do everything on their own which is commendable. They asked us about our preferences for food and travel and arranged everything accordingly . The lady ( Divya ) is a very sweet and homely person who takes care of you like family . Her husband ( Dileep ) took us out early in the morning for a smooth and comfortable boat ride to see water lilies . Overall they treated us very nicely and sweetly and even in their conversations with us they did not shy away from opening up about their life . The rooms are clean and spacious and the view is beautiful whether it is lakeside or a paddy field view. Over all the stay was amazing . I would definitely recommend this place for a visit . For all our local transit, Divya connected us with an auto-taxi driver (Anna). He was great company, extremely cost-effective, and knew exactly which places we should visit, making our travel comfortable and hassle-free for the entire trip.
